We were asked to design a pool cabana that would not only complement the Owner’s traditional estate but also enhance and lengthen the family’s outdoor activities throughout the year. Thus, we incorporated typical support facilities such as men’s and women’s toilets, showers and changing rooms, as well as entertainment functions including a kitchenette and central bar area, a sitting room with a fireplace for the cooler shoulder seasons, and a laundry / storage facility. Below grade is a full basement to house and conceal the pool and cabana mechanicals and to provide ample storage for out of season furniture.
